Our Mission

Who We Are

We are a community of people who have loved ones with extreme social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Our home life can feel unstable, chaotic, or toxic. Our mission is to provide skills training and information so that we can understand and be more effective in our relationship with our loved one.

Our Story

Welcome to the Middle Path community!

Our community was born after meeting at a group therapy program for parents. We found ourselves in need of more information, frustrated with the lack of resources and questions about where to turn for additional support and training.

We looked for answers wherever we could find them - websites, blogs, Facebook groups, and podcasts. Out of this experience rose the idea to create a community where parents and families can share their stories and find the answers the need.

Our teens' behavior left us with feelings of inadequacy, embarrassment, isolation and shame; without a comfortable place to turn where there was an understanding of our families' challenges. We hope you find it here.
